Rocked helping me get things right

I have been using turbo tax for several years now and this is the first time i had a problem with anything that i needed to report an incident and the two people that assisted me, Roberto and Brucetta, both went above and beyond to help me and were most pleasant to speak with. I think your company would benefit in having all your employees reach to attain the same quality of customer service and support as they showed me! I hope they get the recognition and raise they deserve. They are a definite asset to your company. They deserve a hats off salute and a large pat on the back and well done!
What's great about it: excellent help
What's not so great: had a glitch in the free edition
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great customer suppot

It took me all day to get the hang of this but was much faster than waiting for the mail forms and less expensive than most places.
What's great about it: The rep helping me was very good at her job
What's not so great: The system may have a few bugs but so does everything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

not clear when state income file not required

The software wanted me to purchase an upgrade for state income tax. once reviewed it determined I didn't need it. I had to check "Do not file my state return, I will file later" this doesn't make sense. I do not need to file a TN return.
When the software told me "Good news, you do not need to file a state return" it said "select skip state" when you close the window. i could not find "skip state" anywhere.
What's great about it: easy until the state return TN doesn't require
What's not so great: couldn't proceed without "not filing" state return. TN doesn't require

Initial Uploading Process

Purchased TurboTax Basic Disk and inserted it into my up and running computer since there were NO directions on the box or the disk box cover like in the past. Nothing happened, so I went to the Turbotax File and clicked on the "exe" file and it uploaded. I then did my taxes and at the end it would not update the 4 new fines (one at the end was the federal tax forms), so I had to upload the disk again and still nothing came up on my computer screen, so I went to and clicked on the "exe" file and this time, it allowed me to upload the new files at the end and e-file my taxes.
Please put some uploading directions on the disk box or the disk box cardboard cover. ----- Thank you. ---- Guy

Very efficient and easy to use.

I like Turbo Tax. It makes filing much easier. I feel confident that my return is filed correctly and I am getting the maximum refund.
What's great about it: I like the interview questions. The questions guided me through easily to all relevant fields in the 1040 form.
What's not so great: Encountered errors in installation indicating administrator privileges. I was able to get around this.

Turbo Tax is always user friendly and I can depend on security, accuracy, and helfulness.

Easy with the Basic

I file as a self employed, running an overall business and a farm. I was able to use the Basic edition quite well (although Turbo tax will recommend a more thorough version), having done my taxes for over 50 years, the last 10 with Turbo tax.
It gets easier each year.
What's great about it: Questions asked were straight forward, calculations hidden
What's not so great: none I can think of
