Better refund that I expected

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never been disappointed.
What's great about it: Simplicity/Accuracy
What's not so great: ?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall very good program

Got me through a difficult stock transaction

Had several stock buys/sales that had never done before, and never even thought about the tax implications...DUH! on my behalf!.... once i got into the process of filling in the blanks much of what was provided me wasn't actually provided by the broker. Thank goodness for the expert advice and the many FAQ discussion boards, this really helped me to feel comfortable with the information that i was able to provide on my return. Thanks again for making such a great product.
What's great about it: Step-by-step "handholding"

The directions lead you every step of the way, with easy access to help and to instant answers to questions. The format is easy to read and understand.
What's great about it: Step by step directions and easy access to help
What's not so great: Did NOT like the IRS insinuating its presence into health care isssues.

It's nice that you can input all your information and the step by step screens make sure you get everything you can. On the other hand, it seems that there are just TOO many options and screens that don't apply but you have them there anyway.
What's great about it: Step by step instruction, navigable screens, error checks
What's not so great: Somewhat confusing, too many options, takes a long time

perfect tool to use if you have a return that is semi-complicated or easy.
What's great about it: this is the method i will always use and i continue to turn my friends on to it.
What's not so great: what can i do with all the extra money! haha

Turbo Tax changes over the years.

I have been using Turbo Tax over 10 years. The past 2 year returns have become more complicated and less user friendly. I hope this trend does not continue.
