It took me awhile to try turbotax and i was surprised at how easy it was. I get back about the same return without the fees.
What's great about it: Takes less time than working with an accountant.

I really enjoyed this experience. To be honest for the past few years I purchased H & R Block software and was not impressed. This year I see that your product is informative and really helped to explored options to find money for me and the kidos. I thank you for your easy and simple steps to find my hidden treasures. I will definatly be coming back year after year to purchase this software. Awesome!!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to read and very detailed in savings for me
What's not so great: None that I saw.

I would have liked to have more detail in the Schedule A sales tax area. The software just computes an amount but I don't know where the amount came from.
What's great about it: Automated process was nice,
What's not so great: You kept asking if I wanted to upgrade to a more expensive software version. I did not like this.

TurboTax 2014 Basic

Have used TurboTax for the last 15 years with the same consistent ease of use. The man-machine interface has changed over time but it is friendly and straightforward. I would and do recommend it without reservation based on the level of tax preparation required.
What's great about it: Familarity of program over many years
What's not so great: None fouind

I heard about Turbo Tax from a good friend. That was just 5 years ago. I'm going to keep using Turbo Tax because it has taken the guessing and stress and questions out of doing my taxes. I no longer dread tax season because I know for sure that Turbo Tax will be available for people like me to take all the stress and confusion that tax season brings out. I'm indebted to the person or persons who invented Turbo Tax. Thank God for them.
What's great about it: It's quick and thorough and so easy to use.
What's not so great: It is a perfect tool. No improvements needed.

very easy program. just plug info from your w2's and it simply asks you questions about you. doesn't take longer than 30 minutes. I had a problem and the customer service lady upgraded my federal free edition to the Basic edition and paid for my state fee as well.
What's great about it: customer service is great! just plug in your info and its done
What's not so great: dont understand some terminology
