I started using Turbo Tax about 19-20 years ago and I just love it!

Great Tax Program

I was a tax professional for ten years. I retired in 1993, so I don't do them manually any more. I use Turbo Tax Basic because I understand taxes well enough to function well with the Basic. Anyone who is not familiar with taxes and has a complicated return should probably not use Basic.
What's great about it: It won't let you forget anything and you don't have to worry about math errors.

Since the first time we owned a computer, and the capabilities of downloads and software disc, we have always used turbo tax to file our returns, and have never been disappointed.

Excellent Tax Preparer Software

I am a non-practicing CPA. I have used your products for many years. You have a great product which suits both the professional and the layman.
I hope that you continue to market your products. I endorse and recommend your Basic Turbo Tax to anyone who wants to prepare their own tax return.

What's great about it: Easy to follow Interview Platform
What's not so great: It was a little difficult to just print hard copies -- all print functions wanted to go to "pdf" format.

Worst Experience Using TurboTax

it has been in the past. It would NOT allow me to import my information from the previous return. I had to re-enter and re-type a lot of pertinent information that should have automatically transferred. Very disappointing. I mentioned earlier that the software was not user-friendly. It asked too many unnecessary questions. It offered too many options to buy something I didn't want or need. Many times, it wasn't clear what the software was requesting.
What's great about it: The speed and efficiency of filing electronically
