I have faithfully used Turbo Tax for a decade. I love the ease of use and being able to step-through the credits and deductions.
What's great about it: Love the Step-Through Features and Ease of Use
What's not so great: Unable to use a print screen mode

Right software, wrong price.

It was easy and fast. It walked me through every step sometimes more than once. I expect software with that steep of a price tag to include State returns. The time it saved didn't justify the cost, especially when i'm forced to click through ads.
The software update happens after you have completed your federal return. This appears to me to be so the software can download your state forms based on your input. Why doesn't the state form download after I have agreed to purchase the state form expansion? That was a waste of my time.
I'll look for a better way to prepare my taxes next year.
What's great about it: Easy and quick
What's not so great: Overpriced, ads to buy more.

Not enough space to list the Cons above. Confusing print instructions at end. Had to finally print from a .pdf file.
What's great about it: Keeps me from having to do everything longhand

I've been using TurboTax to file my taxes for years. It's a great product - easy to use for any reasonable intelligent person.
What's great about it: Easy to use.

I live in Texas and have no state income tax. When the software gets to the place of filing the taxes, it always asks about filing state income tax. Seems like the software should be able to pick up from my answers that I don't need to do that. As you can see, my only complaint is trivial - I've used Turbo Tax for over a decade and I've never had any problems.
What's great about it: It walks you through everything as if you were being interviewed.
What's not so great: State Tax Feature

Re-entering alot of i formation from last year
What's great about it: I can flle 24/7
What's not so great: I filed in 2011 using turbo tax and 2012 the basic info was already in. In 2013 I had to re-enter a lot of things.
