Foreign Tax 1116 Is Really Awful in Turbo Tax

The Foreign Tax Credit portion of Turbo Tax is truly awful. I could not figure out how to cancel out a mistake I made. I had to go back to an earlier saved version of my return and start this part over. FORTUNATELY I HAD SAVED ONE AND DIDN'T OVERWRITE IT WITH MY MISTAKE! The instructions are unclear. Why should you have to enter things in a specific order? This is the age of computers! Why can't I fix a mistake?

Turbo Tax made it easy

I feel extremely confident that everything was covered and that I'm receiving the best refund possible. Every page had a clear explanation, and it had the feel of someone speaking to you and walking you through the process. There were several opportunities to get questions answered and even to purchase Audit protection, if you want.
What's great about it: Questions lead through the whole process, no worries about forgetting something.
What's not so great: IRA sign-up a little confusing.

Always easy

Every year I use TurboTax. As I've gotten older, I've found that the questions really jog my memory and I'm able to access all the deductions I qualify for. Thanks!

This is a great software with a plethora of information, insight, and helpful guides along the way!
What's great about it: Very user friendly. Great layout and design.

Easiest program for tax preperation

Because I didn't do some pre- return bookkeeping it took me about 2 hrs. to do my taxes.

While the program is very easy to complete and follow, I was very disappointed that I had to make additional purchases in the middle of it. When I purchased the CD, there was nothing labeled about additional charge if I chose to complete and file state taxes!
