Great filing experience

Remembering how it used to be when filing taxes, the ease of using TurboTax causes me to wish that it had always been available.
Of course, it helps a lot if you have your records in order. But given that, jump in. You don't need to know how to swim.
What's great about it: The ease of riding the flow of the process

Very happy with final results. Taxes done for another year.
What's great about it: Fast and customer service online help really know their stuff
What's not so great: accidentally pushed wrong choice, didn't understand the explaination

What happened to Turbo Tax

After many happy years of filing via Turbo Tax I ran into a real nightmare. TT would not update "missing" returns - including
1040 and therefore would not let me finish and file - so I found
someone else who had the program and arranged to use their computer - but - so help me - my FINAL try of many many - the
Upgrade FINALLY WORKED (about 2 hours ago) - so - as of 15
minutes ago I filed electronically without having to use the other computer. I probably tried about 15 times starting a few days ago until on 4/9/14 (my birthday!) it finally "came through" for me and I will be using TT again next year! - Duane Meador

Worry Free Filing

I have used Turbo Tax for 8 years and I like the fact that I know my taxes are filed correctly.
What's great about it: Entering the info and Turbo Tax completes the required forms.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
