2013 Return

I have used TurboTax for years - always on the same computer.
All past return have been saved.
This year I had to dig up numbers from past returns and enter them by hand.
TurboTax should have done this for me.

What's great about it: Fast

I was told to update my software in order to file. From the "online menu" I was supposed to "check for updates". Going to the website I found that there was no "online menu" that would permit me to "check for updates". It took some time before I found that going online to the site was not the best way to go online. I had to click on the software top menu. Finding this link took as long as it did for me to fill out my return.
What's great about it: Filling out the form was easy and pleasant.
What's not so great: I could not file my return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Reasonable Cost

Lost me on sales tax with notification that a form was not ready. I finally figured out this had not been updated. Once I did the 8 minute update, every thing worked out
What's great about it: Instructions easy to follow
What's not so great: No notification in advance to update before starting

Turbo Tax does an excellent job bringing information in from outside sources, from last year's return, and integrating it in with the latest tax law changes
What I don't like is the inability to see forms until late February :(

Astounding

The software was very intuitive and easy to use. It takes all of the stress out of filing taxes and makes it an almost enjoyable experience. The whole process is fast, easy, and stress free. I would recomend it to anyone who gets stressed out doing their taxes.

What's not so great: Requires internet access for full bennifit

I have used the program since a good friend recommended it to me. I like the transfer of my basic information from the previous years return. I really like the Tax History Report.

Could Not e-file

Tried to e-file. Program said there were updates that had to be installed first. Downloaded "Check for Updates" Did this 6 times. Still wouldn't let me e-file. Had to mail in return by snail mail.
Very inconvenient !!!!!
