Suggest early reminder with links to search online for updates. I almost forgot to search for updates.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
What's not so great: Almost forgot to check for updates that included more information reference sales tax deductions

I've used Turbotax for years and will continue to do so in the future if you don't push extra stuff on me too hard. As a retired expat, with modest straight forward income, and no state tax return to file, I have been very successfully served with the Basic edition. Please don't make it hard for me to do the same in the future.

What's not so great: Kind of heavy pushing the adons and other goodies to buy.

Good but can be better

i got my money's worth with Turbotax.
However, I got into trouble with the IRS 2 years in a row because not all accounts from one Mutual Fund and from one Bank were downloaded. It happened again this year, so I had to add manually the missing accounts.

What's great about it: use of previous year's information.
What's not so great: trouble downloading financial institution information.

We've used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years. It makes preparing/filing taxes so smooth. The help section is invaluable. The whole process couldn't be easier.
What's great about it: Seamless, easy to follow, prompts for every scenario
What's not so great: Difficult/impossible to copy/paste info to Word document. Always have to do a screen shot to capture info.

Easy Filing Again!

I have used TurboTax for the past 15 years and it has always been quick and efficient in preparing and filing my returns. The help options have always been able to answer my questions. Electronic filing is extremely easy and I get my refunds quickly. I will continue to use TurboTax and have recommended to several friends and relatives. Great product!
What's great about it: Transfer of information from previous year really speeds things up. Easy to follow step by step instructions.
What's not so great: None

Accrurate return.

Had to manually enter the Carryover of disallowed deduction from line 13 of my 2012 Form 4562. This should be done automatically by TurboTax.
What's great about it: Reasonably thorough.
What's not so great: On Form 4562, TurboTax did not transfer carryover of disallowed deduction from line 13 of your 2012 Form 4562
