A lot of tax stuff that you have to wade through.
What's great about it: accurate calculations
What's not so great: the complexity of taxes

A little disappointed

I have used turbo tax for many years. It seems the past several years , there is less guidance and more need for guessing on my part with the tax deductitons.
What's not so great: not a lot of suggestions of things to check

excellent product which I have used for as long as i can remember.
What's great about it: straightforward
What's not so great: hard a few problems with upgrades and e file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Took too long to fix the state sales tax problem. I waited nearly two months; for others it was longer (I looked at the blogs, etc.) You need to get glitches like this fixed faster and provide email updates when they are fixed. Felt like I was in the dark for two months. Not a good feeling whether you owe to the IRS or if you get a refund. No problems the past 12 + years. I will buy again next year; hope no problems, otherwise I will go to one of your competitors. To be fair, for the numerous years I had no problems, I give you my Thanks!
What's great about it: Easy to use; quick calculations; very pleased with in past 12 or more years
What's not so great: State sales tax calculation did not accurately calculate. No prior year problems with TT.

First timer doing my own taxes.....

After for years paying so much money to get my taxes done. I was encouraged by a friend to try Turbo Tax. I was a little nervous about it but, I bought the program and I was thrilled on how easy it was. The long standing argument that a tax person knows all the changes in the tax laws bla bla bla.
Well, so does Turbo Tax maybe even better.
I'm so happy with my experience that I will be back next year for sure. This time with no fear.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you through with very easy questions to get to all the details. Very through and "painless".
What's not so great: If you save to come back for a later session. It makes start from beginning but info is saved

Once again used Turbo Tax for filing my income tax. Easiest thing I have ever done and trustworthy. Step by step process, details along the way and explanations if needed make things so much easier.
