Easiest Return Ever!

This was the easiest return ever....I have been using Turbo Tax for years and the streamlining built in is great. I understand every question asked and was never confused by the language in the program.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and find it easy and accurate.
What's great about it: Does all math and helps find errors and mistakes
What's not so great: Charges a fee for state return. Ohio I-File is free.

Took me a while to know where my info was going.

Still don't know if I got the right info on form "B" re: state ID. No info provided by Schwab. No hint from Turbo where this code might be found to input.
What's great about it: Future usage will be more simple.
What's not so great: Hard to find what to do with SSA. Hard to SEND via e-file

Can't say anything bad about Turbo Tax! I can do other family members' taxes for one low price, it checks for every possible deduction. I really like the FAQ's too. Haven't found anything that I couldn't see an answer for.
What's great about it: Checks for every possible deduction, simple, step-by-step, worth every penny!
What's not so great: Nothing but love for Turbo Tax!

Suggestions:
1. put the charitable contribution list in alphabetical order.
2. program the software so that people who live in states without a state income tax do NOT get the prompt to have Turbo-tax do their state taxes.

What's great about it: ability to download data from financial institutions
What's not so great: prompts to use software to prepare state taxes - I live in a state with no income tax!

Had problems double checking as I proceeded through each section. Kept having to click through everything.
What's great about it: not as good as deluxe
What's not so great: basic is simple, but id' use deluxe next time

Have used for years after doing my own for years by hand. You always need to get the raw data to do taxes whether or not you use turbo tax. Once you have the "raw data" turbo tax makes the actual filling out of forms so much easier and takes away any math errors or omissions required for your return.
What's great about it: If you can read, you can do your tax! Directions are clear!
What's not so great: Really none of note.
