As Always, The Best of Tax Software

This software is the easiest way my 79yr. old brain can comprehend the U.S. Tax requirements. I've used TorboTax for many, many years now - why change???
What's great about it: Easy to use; always shows progess; Efile included.
What's not so great: None worth listing.

Fairly Good

When completed with no errors, need to be able to print before doing the Efile. In looking at the actual forms it is easier to see and find errors. I have had QuatroPro spreadsheets for years and had tax forms on them. I usually fill them out prior to going to Turbo Tax. Then I compare the two of them. I have found errors on both, but usually on my old spreadsheets. But I have found something I missed in reporting on TurboTax.
What's great about it: Having previous year figures great help
What's not so great: On recording K-1's if any errors occur, questions asked have no answer available

Only one problem

I love how easy it is to finish my taxes. What took me all day before, I can finish in hour now. My only problem was with paying to do my state form. I paid to do the state and then had to quit before I filed. When I went back I had to pay again. I am sure it is something I did wrong, but couldn't figure out how to show I had already paid.
What's great about it: Love the ease. Feel confident about the return.
What's not so great: Confusing if you have to stop before completion.

Another Painless tax filings with Turbo Tax

We have used turbo tax for years tried other programs but feel most comfortable with TurboTax and plan to use it in the future!!

I continue to use Turbo Tax as my sole tax return preparation software for a number of reasons. Primarily, I am familiar with the program. It has garnered my trust after quite a few years of use.
IF I had one complaint, it would be that the cost of tax preparation would be automatically added to the software.

Turbo tax guided me through each phase of my tax return making it very simple and fast to use. It also lets you know how much you owe or are to be refunded after each step. So you know exactly where you stand.
What's great about it: It was very simple to walk through step by step.
What's not so great: no cons
