Quick and easy tax prep

Everything was great until I got to the state sales tax page where it stated that section was not complete, but the IRS would complete that section by 12/31/2013. (I bought and loaded the software in March 2014.) That was when it became obvious I did not have the latest software. I searched for updates, loaded them and finished my return wtih no other problems. I believe I remember the software automatically searching for updates as soon as I installed the application from the CD in previous years.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: Did not prompt me to load updates after I loaded my purchased CD.

Fairly easy to use on a basic return

Fairly satisfied but always run into a snag when I want to back up and change something in a menu that is already in progress.
What's great about it: importing last years info
What's not so great: Impossible to back up on W-2 menu

Great as usual

The only issue i have is when you are in the deduction area, and you finish one of several types of deductions instead of being taken to the next deduction you are taken to the summary screen and you then have to scroll down to the bottom to click continue, minor irritation, but should be seamless and one should not have to scroll, should be taken to next deduction area automatically.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, well laid out
What's not so great: Have to scroll down to bottom of screens

Simple and to the Point.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I like the fact it pulls in entries from prior years saving me time in entering unchanged info. I also really like the auto calculations and how it moves a single entry into all field that need that entry.

Need to put in as many spaces as needed for ALL 1099 download details. Otherwise, must add any remaining entries to the last 1099. Had the same problem in 2012. Need to correct this or will go to competitor.
What's not so great: Not enough space to download all 1099-R's; very disruptive!
