Generally a good product. You should, though, provide an automatic alert that there are updates that need to be made before starting the return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Form 1116 has needed improvement for years. Very hard to follow instructions and unclear. When it comes time to review for mistakes this form always come up and I have to figure out what Turbo Tax is asking for.
What's great about it: Well done except form 1116
What's not so great: form 1116 foreign tax credit

Many year user of TurboTax

I have been a user of TurboTax since the 1980's. Every year it seems to get easier to use even though my taxes get more complicated every year. I don't have to keep up with the IRS tax law changes every year - TurboTax does that for me. I love E-filing and direct deposit. Best of all is that it remembers everything from the previous year which saves a lot of entry time.
What's great about it: Seems to get easier every year!

There are always too many screens trying to sell more services.
What's great about it: handles investments for me
What's not so great: schedule B transactions with no cost basis were treated as missing cost basis

I would like to see better explanation of when vehicle registration is tax deductable. Why not list by state.
Better explanation on Required Minimum Distribution for seniors over 70.5 years of age.
What's great about it: Easy to use, lots of checking
What's not so great: Some items need more explanation

I have filed with Turbo Tax for the last 5 years. They transfer my data every year. I don't have to type in all that information.
What's great about it: Easy Transfer
