Design Flaw

I like the crockpot size and style. It is like a 9 by 13 inch baking pan. I love that.
Yet there is definitely a design flaw that I found and want to warn any other buyers about! The bottom of my crock pot heating pan had 4 little bitty white plug ins. These would protect the pan from scratching your counter top, EXCEPT 2 broke off after my 1st time of using the crock pot pan. So now my pan tilted, but the real design flaw was that there is a BOLT on the bottom of the pan that sticks down longer than the pan. THAT bolt ended up putting a scratch on my table!!!!! So the little bitty white plug ins are cheap!!!! The longer bolt did a job on my table!!!! BEWARE this my happen to you!!! For that reason I can't recommend you buying it!!!!!! Sorry otherwise it would be a favorite!

Cons: fix your design! the bolts need to be shorter, use stronger white plugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great until you put in oven

Christmas Day I put the lasagna in oven to brown and the glass broke in half.
Lasagne dinner ruined. Do NOT recommend putting in oven as they state you can. Dish broke in half.

The stoneware is oven safe up to 400 degrees. However, you never want to preheat the oven before putting your stoneware into it as extreme temperature changes can cause the stoneware to crack. You will want to put the stoneware into the oven and then turn your oven on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love my new Crock-Pot Casserole Crock Slow Cooker!! It works great! It is so convenient to now be able to make casserole dishes without having to stack everything in a round deep crock!! I recently made a chicken & rice casserole, and it turned out perfect!! It gives you the option for more variety, by having the square dish verses a large round one. You don't have to stack everything on top of each other. You just put your chicken in, layer your rice on top, add other ingredients, and set your temperature. You will have a great casserole dish in no time. I like that it has different heating temperatures, and it is truly a great looking product. I would recommend this Crock-Pot Casserole Crock Slow Cooker to anyone that loves to make casseroles with ease. I received this product to try for free, although the views & opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Pros: easier to make casserole dishes, nice size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the Crock Pot Casserole.It is just the right size to fix your favorite casseroles or pasta dish in.It has very easy to use controls with three settings - high,low & warm.The removable stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher making cleaning easier.You can put the stoneware in the oven to heat your food.It has a locking lid and cord wrap that makes transporting much easier.I also found that the cord wrap comes in handy when storing your Crock Pot to keep the cord out of the way.
I received this product to test and I was very pleased with it after the first time I used it.I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Addition to the Kitchen!

The crockpot casserole has been a great addition to our kitchen. We use our standard crockpot regularly but the casserole crockpot has made it possible to prepare other other types of dishes that I might normally have cooked in the oven in the crockpot instead. It is wonderful to be able to do the prep for these meals early and have dinner ready when we get home. The casserole crockpot is easy to use and works well. We have made several dishes including stuffed peppers and hashbrown casserole and they came out great. I received the crockpot as a sample for review but highly recommend it.
Pros: easy to use, great for casseroles normally cooked in the oven

Great Cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this slow cooker! The color makes it look so much better sitting on my counter. I like how easy it is to clean too. I also think it has a better seal on the lid than my other cooker which is great since it doesn't let the heat escape and slow the cooking time. I also really like that when it's done you just lock the lid in place and take it with you. Perfect for get together's anywhere. I received this as a sample to try and have been using it about 3-4 times a week and have put my other slow cooker away in the cabinet.

love the casserole shape

I was given this a number of months ago but haven't used it yet. I was hoping to find recipes specifically for the casserole shape. My other crockpots are sonderul for stews and soups but I was hoping for a more oven baked texture (as opposed to the very wet one pot dishes). Please come up with recipes for this dish. The only one I could find was lasagna.
