[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for casseroles, has plenty of room for all ingredients. Really like that I can either use as a crock pot to cook all day, or when in a hurry can make the casserole in the ovenproof dish and then keep warm in the crock pot unit. I did find the whole unit a little large and heavy.
Pros: lid seals tight to take along without spills
Cons: a little heavy

My husband bought this for me to use for Thanksgiving and the holidays to come after. I LOVE IT! I made my sweet potatoes in it and put in oven to brown marshmallows then back to crock insert to keep them warm. I love it and can't wait to do some left over casseroles in it. My only concern was I noticed in bottom of crock dish while washing it out that it had four small fork like holes in corner, just hoping this doesn't mean future cracks in it, never noticed anything like this in my other crock pots I have. Will just watch it closely and may make a call on the warranty to make sure it's covered if it does cause a crack. But other then that I love it, I love making casseroles and I love my crock pots to cook in and this one is perfect size to do both at same time.

I love this casserole CrockPot. It's not deep, but it is wide and it's perfect for casseroles. I do meals in this CrockPot at least five days out of the week. It even has a "warm" selection in case my husband comes home a little late from work. Highly recommend.
Pros: wide (not deep)

The new casserole Crock-Pot ROCKS!

Wow, Let Me Tell You - I Love my new casserole Crock-Pot. I have lost count how many times I've used it in the few months I've owned it. I probably use it 3 or 4 times per week, minimum. Our family has a crazy schedule with extremely busy evenings. It is so fantastic to pop a few simple ingredients in this tool and have a fully cooked, piping hot dinner at precisely the right time. I don't even need fancy recipes. For instance, I pop in salmon steaks in the middle, frozen potatoes on the left, and frozen asparagus on the right. They're perfectly ready when we are. Nothing could be easier. Thank you, Crock-Pot for this wonderful new device! I rave about this Crock-Pot and co-workers are buying their own. One told her husband she was NOT waiting for Christmas to get one!
Pros: easy to table, easy to wash, vented lid, cooking "long" (versus deep) allows for options, thinking in "layers" not required, make a dinner that is not a "mixture" of flavors, locking lid for travel rocks all by itself!
Cons: seriously? i cannot think of any cons

I bought this for a future gift, so I have not used it. I do depend on the Crockpot brand, though.

I thought I would do flips in the store isle when I saw this. I was going to buy a chaffing dish, and there it was. I have been asking for years... Why don't they make a Crock Pot in the 9 x 13 casserole size? I have not cooked in it yet, but I have used it for exactly what I have always had a problem with. Not anymore, problem solved. Made my casserole... I have done several, one, lasagna, one baked ziti... a mexican bake... anyway, I just make my casserole in the oven, and then transport it with the amazing lock down lid, and then keep it warm during our tennis matches. Whatever I brought, is piping hot and ready to eat after we play. Love this thing. One thing, I have to make sure I shut it off after an hour or 2, because even though I have it on Keep warm, it is very hot, and continues to cook the food. That and those little rubber feet keep falling off the bottom. Other than that, This thing is awesome. I recommend it!
Pros: 9x13 removable casserole dish, 3 temperatures including keep warm, lock down lid for safe transport!
Cons: the keep warm setting is too hot, little rubber feet on bottom fall off

Open Xmas present and find lid damages/rubber seal

Not to happy with this as my lid is damaged and I am not sure of how to get a replacement or if they will or not for free. Wanted to help out at the house as my friend has bone cancer and I was going to make a meal in my new pot and now cant. Now not sure if the rest of it has any damage or not. I just want a replacement as my sister in law has one and we have enjoyed using it.

Good unit with some room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the crock-pot casserole crock slow cooker. The size was perfect for my family of three. Often, my larger crock pot is too big and this was just right. And,I very much like the feature of being able to easily transport the whole unit to use elsewhere. I have three suggested areas of improvement, however. One of the main purposes of a crock-pot is to be able to put ingredients in early in the day and come home to a hot meal later. I find it surprising, then, that this unit was built without a timer. Second, the recipe book included is very limited. If, for whatever reason, you don't use cream based soups, there is nothing of use in that recipe book. And, third, while I understand the shape of the crock is to hold a casserole, it is disappointing that the show cooker disposable bags on the market do not fit. But, all in all, the unit worked great and I'm glad to have it in my kitchen.
Disclaimer: I received this product as a sample to test and review
Pros: great size, locking transport feature is very useful
Cons: no timer is a huge drawback, disposable bags don't fit
