Great addition especially for traveling. Made ziti, green bean casserole also other chicken recipes. Wish they'd make a bigger recipe book especially for it.

I use this all the time for family functions which are quite often in our family. Makes excellent mac n cheese as it lets the cheese slow cook with the noodles and gets all nice and gooey. Bought two more for more side dishes and cannot wait to use. Very easy clean up.

I purchased 7 Casserole Crockpots online - six for Christmas gifts (not yet opened) and one for me! Opened mine today and instructions say not to latch lid during use. I have asked CS about this because the lid does not fit tightly without the latch. They say up to 3 days before they get back to me. Guess I may not get to use for Christmas meal prep. Can't recommend yet.

Thank you for your inquiry. Please do not cook with the lid locked. You do not want a tight seal on the lid. This would cause too much pressure to build up. The lock is only for transporting the slow cooker. Have a Merry Christmas!

I used my first one so much so bought two more. For big dinner functions this is perfect. All my friends want to know where I got it. So easy to cook in the oven and then take the casserole, where the regular slow cooker is great for soups this is the queen for casseroles
