[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the casserole slow cooker to add to my many other Crock Pots. Love the Casserole style for several of my favorite recipes. I love to slow cook. Food always comes out tender and delicious. Great for all the entertaining we do. If it's done earlier than I need, I just put it on warm. Also easy to transport if I need to bring a dish to pass.

Causes counter top underneath to get EXTREMELY hot

Used for first time yesterday and am afraid to use in the future. Counter top underneath got extremely hot. See where it could possibly ruin a counter surface or if placed on or near the wrong thing could be a fire hazard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
