Great investment in the crock-pot family.

I purchased this shortly after it came out. I am very happy with the results so far, and have used it for casseroles, lasagna, and corned beef. I am learning the limits to its capacity -some of the layers puff up more than anticipated on my lasagna recipes. I am not happy with the rubber gasket on the lid. Without dishwasher cleaning, it is hard to clean and has been smelly when washed by hand. The stoneware has an awkward lip that prevents it from fitting nicely in my sink, but at least it is dishwasher safe. I have 6 different sizes of slow cooker, but the stoneware on this has been a bigger problem to wash and rinse - it seems slippery and harder to get a solid hold around the edges. Very strange and frustrating. The locking lid has been helpful for potlucks. The footprint on the counter is not too much larger than my 6 quart oval. Overall, I like this cooker and have been able to find a number of recipes online as people discover it and adapt their favorite selections to it. I have not tried desserts in it yet.

Nice addition different options

I picked this up for hot dips which worked perfectly. Then Thanksgiving came around and I thought why not use this for stuffing, another great idea. So far I am pleased with the options this casserole option brings to crockpot cooking. The ceramic liner fits in the dishwasher and cleans easily which I love. I can't wait to try this with more traditional casserole dishes like lasagne or chicken and rice.

I love this slow cooker. Besides being able to cook casseroles, I like that I can spread meat out over a larger surface instead of stacking it on top of each other. I would tatally recommend this slow cooker. I own 4 slow cookers and this has become my go to slow cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend of mine brought one to a Christmas meal, and I fell in love with it. My husband bought me one for Christmas. I love the fact that you can prepare 9x13 dishes in this crockpot and take to fellowship, family or potluck meals. My sister saw mine, and immediately asked for one for her birthday! Just the right size and easy to clean up or transport!
