Peace of mind

I have been using this GE refrigerator water filter for 8 years and it gives me peace of mind knowing our water and ice cubes are purified water. I signed up to receive a new one every six months and it arrives at my door (free shipping!) and so easy to replace in frig.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We recently moved to a new city, and the water out of the faucet did not taste pure. Our refrigerator has a water dispenser--something we have never had or used in the past. We purchased this filter because the light indicated replacement needed. We have been drinking the water and voila--pure tasting and problem solved!

The filter seems to work just fine but makes an annoying sound. The last one I had did not do this and I wish this one didn't but I'm tired of always having to play the part of the angry consumer so I will just keep it and hope the next one does not do this.

Easy to remove & install. Should have warning that ice maker might not work once new filter is installed.
