The system is always frozen so we cant use it

The ice maker never shuts off so I have to take a knife and chop the block of ice cubes and then empty the ice drawer.

Is ridiculously expensive. I buy GE for the quality and am willing to pay a premium for that 0 but then you keep reaching into my pocket after I have shown that I am a loyal customer. Doesn't sound right - doesn't feel right!
