Great water filter!

I love this water filter because the water tastes clean. Another big plus is that we were able to get rid of our pitcher style filter and free up space in the fridge. I gave this item four stars instead of five only because it is expensive for one genuine GE brand filter, although worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unhappy with MWFP filter

Since GE advised to change filter yearly, I just ordered replacement, received it, lined up arrows & installed it. Result: Ice maker no longer works, although water dispenser does work. Very unhappy, since I have been advised that I now need a new ice maker for my GE Profile refrigerator. Do you have an answer? Happy with frig, prior to this problem. Don

very expensive for something that has to be changed so often. I can only recommend it because this is the only one that fits my fridge. Wish my unit would accept the lesser expensive products.

Did not fit my refrigeratpr/

This genuine GE filter did not fit my fridge, not even with the adaptor. Had a couple of conversations with service representative. Had to order from another source.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
