I like that the filter in the fridge is actually changeable, and that the process is simple. I wish it tasted like it was filtering the water. Or lasted a little longer, especially for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As far as I can tell this works great but the installation instructions are woefully inadequate as it relates to setting the inside connector in the right position before attempting to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light comes on too often - I usually change after 4-5 cycles. We have pretty good tap water. Filter was a little expensive and un-recyclable. But installation/replacement super-easy and the shipping was very quick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My refrigerator is an older one, and the GE water filter really makes the water taste great. It's better than most bottled waters. The ice cubes are also clear. My water from the tap is really gross, so the GE filter must really be doing its job.
I would recommend this to a friend!
