I purchased this appliance in 2013...I have not changed the filter to this refrigerator until this year 2020...I have the combo water dispenser and ice cube maker...it (water filter) was an easy exchange and it was then I was made aware to change the filter every 6 months!!
Probably not a good discovery to admit...but I'm not too proud...the filter works great and I'm happy with the purchase and the ease of exchange
