I was prompted to purchase this specific filter when I registered my fridge. It is the wrong filter.

it will be helpful if the filter change light be on after 300 gallons of water dispensed instead of every 6 months as household size varies and consumption varies as a result.

Water has returned to the speed and pressure it was when the fridge was new. And I like that the replacement frequency is 6 months instead of 3 like the off-brand models. Water quality taste and smell is excellent. So is the coffee.

Only downside is the installation. The label was not lined up correctly on the filter & it took awhile to figure this out. After several failed attempts at installation, I checked the alignment on the old filter & saw the problem!
