Bad experiences

I have GE model GSE25HMHBHES. First time I replaced the MWF filter, it broke the valve and had to be replaced. I've replaced 2 filters since then. Now, on my 4th filter, it is not working again. The old filter works fine (although it's old) and installing the filter bypass cap works fine, but I have tried 3 different GE MWF filters, and all three are failing. You get a slight hammer noise for 2 seconds, and a ridiculously low-flow of water, even after several minutes of trying to run the water. It's like my fridge has a swollen prostate! If you open the door, it sounds like the new filters are leaking air. I am not confident with this product at all and I shouldn't have to replace the valve again - LEMON!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fits well

Recently, I tried using a substitute brand filter that supposedly would fit my GE refrigerator. However, I could not get the substitute one to attach. I went back to the manufacturer filter as it attached easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!
