Unable to Install

I have been unable to properly install it, so I now have no water from my fridge. I have been buying bottled water until I can find a neighbor who might be able to determine and fix the problem. I have filled it with water and tried to insert it and turn it so that arrows line up, but water won't flow. It has always been a little difficult for me to install, but in the past I have always finally succeeded. So far, not this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It broke my water .

My water Doesn’t come out anymore. What am I supposed to do? Maybe you should send me another one or send somebody out to fix what was working fine before I changed the filter???

I putted the water filter but not water come out and I had hire a GE repairman to come and look at it and repair my ice maker. I have to wait couple weeks.

EASY INSTALLATION

We were completely satisfied with this filter. When our ice maker ceased working, we were sure this would be an expensive fix. My husband is an auto mechanic, and realized that the filter might be the problem. Ordered it.....installed it easily (it screws right into the filter space), and by the next day we again had ice.
