Had to return bad part

The part came and after I installed it, I found out it wasn't sealed properly when I came home and opened to fridge to see it flooded with water leaking out of the part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cloudy ice , freezer water build up

I have to take accumulated ice build up from the bottom of my freezer every few days or it leaks onto the floor causing possible water damage in my home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your filter. We regret your experience. We suggest you remove the filter and install the bypass plug. Try the dispenser and see if you get an accumulation of water. It needs to be determined what is causing the leak.
If removing the filter does not correct this issue, we would recommend having a GE Appliance technician properly diagnose and repair the issue. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737.

We purchased 5 piece kitchen package I was very disappointed with the refrigerator doors finish. I tried getting it corrected & was told it's a cosmetic issue not happy @ all. I will not purchase G E Products ever again. But my husband did purchase a brand new G E washer & dryer about a year ago.

used a coupon that GE offered which is always nice to save money

Water tastes great, but difficult to change filter

Our water tastes great with the MWF filter. I like that it was recently improved to remove even more contaminants, and even traces of pharmaceuticals. Unfortunately, the filter is difficult to change, requiring a wrench and considerable strength. The description of how to change the filter makes it sound very easy, but in reality, it's a chore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
