GE water filter

After about 3 months, the refrigerator water filter in my brand new GE refrigerator with ice maker leaked and stained the inside of the refrigerator wall. I also think the filter is too expensive by needing to be changed every 6 months. I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
