super slow

all filters in the past have been fine, but this one is super slow. I've tried to reinstall it twice, am still using it, (a couple weeks now), but it hasn't improved. can i get a replacement?

Does not truly work

I bought this in hopes it would truly fit my GE fridge. We have bought several and none for although they are all “standard”. We will not purchase and GE in the future. Very disappointed

Not a great product

I put in a new filter which didn’t function and call for replacement. I believe this is all a gimmick because NOW there’s a very small stream of water coming out of the spout. We Googled for answers and we are the only ones having this problem. So is it the filter mechanical or the Refrigerator water line. It’s so very frustrating!

fast & easy to install

We had a power surge & it blew out our refrigerator. I was able to go online & found your site where I could call & speak to someone to help me order the correct part. We were able to install ourselves. We did not have to have a costly repair man come out to diagnose & overcharge us unlike other appliances we have had in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Moved into a new office suite where former tenants had left a refrigerator in the kitchen, but the ice maker wasn't producing any ice! Suspecting the filter hadn't been changed in a long time, I purchased the new filter, and VOILA! Ice! Thank you

Pros: good water quality, convenient to use, always cold water and good ice ready, and, most importantly, filter lead and several pharmaceuticals.
Cons: filter life. I have used several of these filters over the years and the best lasted 3.5 months and the worst 2 months. I assume you get 6 months like GE claims only if you use this for ice! The last filter I used lasted barely 2 months with the last two weeks on really terrible water pressure taking almost a minute to fill up a cup. Usually, the first month is great, then water pressure drops dramatically.

The replacement part MWFP does not fit models that used MWFC filters. I spent almost 3 hours today returning filters and trying other MWF parts and I had to put in my old filter to get water. The actual design is not the same as the original part and thats probably why it won’t work. What can I do since the correct part is no longer available??
