I'm not happy with this filter. I think it might be defective because the water taste terrible. I thought it might just need to take a few weeks to break in, but this has not been the case. You tell the difference in the water taste. Anyway thanks for asking and now you have it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The filter is great, but after using for a month or so it does not get continous stream of water. After about 10 oz. discharge from my GE fridge water dispenser the water stops and I have to wait a few minutes to get the water again.
