Here in the desert SW where we receive "blended" ground water from unknown sources, I rely on my GE filter to give me clean drinking water & ice cubes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very short life and I do not even use the water. It is all from the ice maker. Having to replace too often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
