The water tastes fresh and clean. It could be improved by removing Floride also.

I bought this one two months ago and it will need replaced in 3 to 4 more months. When I am not here for 6 months, I still need to replace it every 6 months reguardles of lack of usage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad tasting water

I replaced the filter for the first time and the water tastes awful. Has kind of a plastic tasting vibe. I don't notice it on the ice cubes but definitely the water
