LOVE this range!!

We bought this range for our newly renovated home and also installed the GE Cafe series hood - we couldn't be happier! The quality is five star and the range has sauteed vegetables to perfection and baked brownies that are divine! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new range with beautiful finishings!

Oven works great. Stovetop has easy to use burners - love the 2-piece continuous grate. Wish it came with 3 oven racks instead of just 2. Will need to order another.

Not as great as my older model

I was so happy to be getting a new GE stove, imagine my shock to see the changes were not so great. I am in a wheelchair and the added height to the stove makes it very difficult for me to see in pans. It also puts splatters, etc. right at my face. The heavy cast iron top plates are nearly impossible for me to lift or remove without help. And they no longer fit in a dishwasher. I never had a problem like this with my older model. As for the function of the stove, it is fine. But, I truly wish I had known how some of the newer changes would make it so difficult for me to continue to have independence in my kitchen. I am truly disappointed in my stove. However, for anyone that is strong, stands to cook and loves to constantly have to wipe off the stove, it is a great stove. I've always been a fan of GE stoves, but should I ever need another stove in the future, it probably won't be a GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New house came with it. First time I've cooked with gas since the 1960's what a difference. It is so beautiful and so safe. I'm still getting used to all of the fancy features.

We had an old Hotpoint stove that was old and tired. This GE model is in a class by itself ! Love the power boil and simmer burners. Worth the money for sure.

Love the GE Range!

Upgraded builder's grade freestanding range with this GE slide in range and love the look and enjoy cooking on it. Only disappointment was not receiving a griddle with this 5 burner one. There was some discrepancy about it coming with the JGS750SEF6SS model and product review mentioning one. Other than no griddle, I am totally satisfied. Also was a bit concerned the new range wouldn't fit the cabinet space but it fit perfectly(30"). Had an efficient installer on this and my GE dishwasher as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
