Blendtec blends better than the other blenders and it keeps working through the years. We have bought several replacement jars - just because the gears at the bottom start seizing up or leaking. But we continue to replace - because there is nothing better. My Mom has to have all her food blended and strained so we can not be without our Blendtec.

It does it’s job as advertised ! Love blending food and creating sauces, soups and ice cream. I do recommend folks to clean and scrub the rubber lid as soon as your done blending because tiny food particles seem to get stuck or dry easily on the rubber lid.

This jar is more efficient than the one that came with my quite old blend tech. The plastic seems more durable, easier to clean and because it is of a slightly different plastic I guess, it is much quieter than the old one.

I was replacing an old, out-of-warranty jar because it didn't sit well while blending and wobbled fiercely. The new one is clean and sparkly but doesn't sit that well either, although it sits better than the old one. The new one does wobble some and I feel it necessary to keep my hand on the top.
