Great Controller for PC

Bought this controller for Assassins Creed Unity. Got the game free with a recent PC purchase. Trying to play with a keyboard/mouse alone was impossible. I am not a huge gamer, but this unit works great for PC's. Easy to set up. Worked for me right out of the box (I might have done a firmware upgrade, but cannot remember for sure). Works with Steam.

I kept hearing about how good Xbox 360 controllers were good for computers. They are great. Set up was easy just plug it in and let Windows install the necessary drivers. Works for all the games I have. I think the controllers though could be a little less in price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works under Windows 7 out of the box. No drivers to install. Instructions talk about software needed at windowsgaming.com for windows XP but I could not locate the software. Tried just plugging it in and it worked fine.
Have been running into many windows based games that only support the xbox 360 controller so now I have one.
What's great about it: Worked with nothing else to install
I would recommend this to a friend!

In certain environments, wired controllers are necessary which is why I picked up this one. Besides the obvious wire, it's identical to its untethered brother.
What's great about it: Cheaper than the wireless version
What's not so great: Cable length could be a bit longer

Even though wireless controllers may be the standard package, a wired controller is much more reliable in the long run and better for competition. Since it doesn't use a battery pack, the controller is much lighter.
A wired controller never lags and a player will never have to worry about battery life or signal interference, as well as not having to synchronize a controller to a console.
What's great about it: Durable, long cord, worth the cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A good controller

What can I say? This is a microsoft licensed product so it functions like it should. I decided to buy the controller to play pc games with it and it works great for that. I also put it aside just in case i run out of batteries for my wireless controller. That happens occasionally for me.
The only thing i can complain about is what has happened to all of my xbox controllers. The joysticks get broken in and become loose or very stiff taking away from the accuracy of movements in games. I have kind of learned to deal with it with time, however, so it isn't a huge problem.
What's great about it: great for pc, no batteries, lengthy cord
What's not so great: joysticks become stiff overime affecting gameplay
I would recommend this to a friend!

What can I say, it's a controller. Works like it's supposed to.
But on another note, who plays by themselves? Remember the good old days when game consoles came with two controllers so you can share the fun with your friends? I guess since there's Xbox Live, you're never really alone.

i bought the wired controller because it was $15 cheaper then the wireless one. plus, getting a wired controller it doesnt come with the rechargable battery pck so you have to buy anpother one of those unless you want to fork out a ton of cash for batteries.
no thank you.
the wired controller works AWESOME. its durable, and the wire plenty long to sit away from the TV. unless you like sitting 30 feet away, but thats not me.
its good for friends to use when they come over. i'd get another one.
What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: not wireless, but i dont care
