After 12 years of a front load LG washing machine I was talked into buying a top load. Sorry I did. So sorry that I'm thinking of giving it away after only a few months. Here are the issues: no matter how I distribute the clothes before washing, most of the time something is puffed up in the middle of the drum, not really getting washed. The other big issue is that after spinning, i take out a jumble of knotted and twisted clothing, having to untie the slacks from the long sleeve tops!
I would still recommend LG products but you have to make sure to get the right ones.

Yes, I've read the manual and do believe I am using it correctly. I'll go back to a front load thank you.

Too Complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is too complicated and really doesn't do any better job than the "old school" washers. If you like to waste your time figuring out settings, then you'll love it. Most of the settings are redundant and useless; for example, when the "Extra Hot" or "Hot" water settings the water comes out the same and it's not hot! The only reason I purchased this was to "match" my other LG appliances which aren't much better.

The worst washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy this to wash your clothes! Go for this only if you want your laundry room to look nice. It doesn't even remove tooth paste stains. Waste of money. Totally disappointed! I'll try to get refund for this. LG should discontinue this model.

The area for softener is always full of water. Takes over one hr for a load to run

I just got it yesterday and washing my comfort it has dirt spot like really this washer is brand new and not cheap.
