The Benefit of a Doubt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last DW was a Bosch. I LOVED it! So quiet and convenient. But, after only a few years the motor burned out. I was very disappointed. However, I must note that in trouble shooting it, I noticed the drain filter was almost SOLID with soap debris (you know the cakes of dishwasher detergent that are so popular now?) I am suspicious that this is the problem that clogged the system so much it made the motor burn out before its time. I really wanted another Bosch so I checked out Consumer Reports and found this model (a sister model to our previous Bosch) highly recommended. So we took the plunge and bought this one. Man! It's even quieter than the previous model and does a fantastic job with the dishes! I am switching to LIQUID Dishwasher soap exclusively and am hopeful that this solves the short life issue with the motor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dish washer in Sept. of 2015. We are very pleased. It is really quiet and does a great job on the dishes. It just goes to show you that you don't have to spend a fortune to get clean dishes.

New dishwasher

Overall pretty good product, but two features I really don't like. The configuration of the spokes in the loading racks make it very hard to load wider mouth glasses and cups, and on the lower rack, anything other than plates, lots and lots of plates.
Also the spring in the door makes it close too quickly and also difficult to open. I wonder if the door spring can be relaxed somewhat.

I've owned probably 5 dishwashers throughout the years and this one is not one of my favourites.

Poorly designed racks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top rack will not handle wide glasses or cups. The bottom rack is nearly useless; it pretty much only holds plates, and flat ones at that because the tines are so close together. If you have three or four breakfast cereal bowls (or similar), you will max out the rack trying to fit them in. This model does not have a rinse cycle, which to me is a real negative. Perhaps not designed for the U.S. market? On the plus side, it is very quiet, and glasses and dishes come out spotless.

Quiet & Efficient - Difficult Racks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Bosch dishwasher for more than a year. It's quiet and efficient. Even though it's one of the least expensive Bosch dishwashers, everything dish, glass, and utensil comes out clean and spotless even when using shortest (40 minute) wash cycle. The only downside is the dish racks. Loading dishes, glassware, and a couple of pots and pans is more difficult than Rubik's cube. I suppose that the more expensive models have more flexible racks. It's too bad that Bosch didn't mention the rack challenge in the online description!

Quieter, more efficient and cleans better.

Bought for the price but should have upgraded

It works well, cleans the dishes and is quiet, but I am disappointed in how the dishes load. The prongs are too close together and there is not a lot of flexibility in how to load dishes and glasses. As a result, I cannot load as many dishes because they just don't fit well. Secondly, even though I am having to run the dishwasher more frequently, the odor tends to build up immediately. I am guessing it is due to the fact that the interior is not all stainless steel. I wish I would have spent a bit more money to get some better features.
