Dishwasher works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with the new dishwasher. unlike lesser models, it actually washes the dishes and the inside is huge. We can put a lot more dishes and glasses in it so we don't have to wash as often. That saves energy. We are very happy with it.

Love love love my dishwasher.

Firstly Consumer Reports rates Bosch the best. This particular Bosch was rated above all the other models, and was a better bargain, who knew? I wanted the button controls on the front where I could see them. I scrape food but do not rinse as recommended. All I need is the half hour express wash and everything is sparkling. First time I ran it there was a lot of condensation residue so in reading my manual I learned how to make the last rinse extra hot (no heating element), that took care of the problem. Sadly there is no beep when it is done so,I set my timer, then I open the dishwasher to let all that steam escape and it’s dry almost immediately. I highly recommend this. I got the white front as I am totally over the stainless steel fad.

Quality product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is very quiet and does a great job of cleaning. My only complaints are:
1. The normal cycle is pretty long - 2hrs 20 minutes.
2. There is no option for air drying unless you stop the cycle manually and open the door.
Other than that, I have not been disappointed in this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing 2 dishwashers in 10 years, I made the decsion to do some homework and get one that would last. Am I ever glad I went with a Bosch! I will never own another brand. It does everything it says it will do, including getting the plastic containers dry. It seems like a little thing to be excited about, but it's true. Dishes come out clean, even lasagna pans. I could go on, but enough said! Get a Bosch!

Has some design flaws

- The door closes with a strong magnet which takes effort to open and tends to slam itself shut.
- The upper rack is like the door - you have to pull hard, and then it slides out with a clatter.
- When you pull out the lower rack, you have to hold the front of it up, otherwise it slams into the bottom of the open door.
- It leaves the dishes wet.
- A big annoyance is that it doesn't remember the last setting (normal, express, etc.), so you have to reset it each time, by pressing the right arrow several times. This is really weird - I have never seen any kind of device that doesn't default to the previous setting. More expensive Bosch dishwashers apparently behave normally in this respect.
On the positive side, it's not too loud and it gets the dishes clean.
