Should have bought this sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old dishwasher that required complete pre-rinsing before placing in the washer. This new Bosch dishwasher is the ultimate. I just shove all dishes in as dirty as can be and they magically are clean two hours later. The unit is quiet, easy to load and easy to unload.

Best of the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is only my third DW (I'm 70). I researched it carefully as I was downsizing into an open plan living space and needed efficiency and QUIET. I got it. And wow, does it clean. Love the odd features inside, too - the top rack has a flip up side rack with "v"s that cradle stemware. Totally kewl.

Quiet, reasonably priced dishwasher

Pros -
Much quieter operation than our previous dishwasher. During operation, my DB meter is right around 55-57db peak volume about 2' away from the face of the dishwasher.
Does an excellent job of cleaning dishes. We've put a handful of dishes in that we intended to hand-wash after dishwashing the worst off and ended up not needing to follow up on them.

Cons -
Loading scheme isn't great for our dish selection. My parents have the same dishwasher and it works fine for their dishes. But many of our dishes don't fit particularly well.
The bottom drawer tends to roll competely out of the dishwasher. I have double checked that it is level and this still happens, usually when the drawer has heavier items loaded on it.
The latch mechanism is quite firm. You have to give a good tug to open it. After about a week, I was used to it. But our 3yr old can't open it by herself and visiting family frequently asks how to unlock it.

Clean dishes but poor dish placement management

Does a great job of getting dishes clean; no need to pre-rinse. Unit is quiet. Hard to maximize load due to struggling to get medium and large sized non-flat dishes in place due to way too many small holders for dishes on the two racks.
