Wanted to love this...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted and expected to love this dishwasher after reading the reviews...sadly...that didn't happen. While I took a plate to the store to make sure they fit...I should have taken silverware. The knives don't fit right and the basket design isn't as good as my last dishwasher. I use the best soap and jet dry...sometimes food is left on the utensils. The interior door is wet after sitting all night and already a bit stained...most days I have dried it by hand. Speaking of drying...it's difficult to adjust glasses so that water doesn't accumulate in recessses. Overall cleaning is very good and it is quiet. The controls are easy to access and use. I just don't love it...sad.

Quietest dishwasher we've had--and it's fast, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Ascenta right before Christmas, so it got a thorough initial workout during the holidays. We've never been as happy with a dishwasher before (and we've had 4 others through the years). It is very quiet, fast, cleans dishes well, and holds LOTS of cutlery and dishes. It works flawlessly, and the instruction manual is easy to understand. We selected this model because it was highly rated in the December 2019 Consumer Reports, and we haven't regretted our decision. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changing dishwashing cycles is sometimes almost impossible. The door does not always open. These aspects I dislike!! Love the fact that there is a water monitor to prevent floods is fabulous!!
