The best got even better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Bosch dishawasher at home that has been doing good service for many years already. When the dishwasher in our vacation rental property broke, of course we opted for the latest generation of the one we have. Bosch managed to make it even better, with an improved layout of the racks and utensil holder and improvements in the button layout and functions. The best feature is still how quiet it is. The kitchen in the house is open to the living room and with the old machine you could not watch TV or have a conversation while it ran. The Bosch is so quiet that you really don't have to think twice about running it, no matter what you are doing in the room. And the cleaning results are perfect, just like we're used to. We're Bosch users for lif.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After at least 16 years, our old Kenmore's racks were rusting, so we decided to buy a new dishwasher despite the shorter estimated lifespan of today's models. Bosch Ascenta was rated best and promised to use a lot less water, which mattered to us, as we rely on well water. We'd never used the "dry" cycle of the old one and really like that the Bosch uses a totally different, "greener" method of drying dishes via a heat pump system that super heats the water and vents the resulting steam. The dishes don't get completely dry but are dry enough. My husband worried that our hard water would leave mineral deposits in the heating system--time will tell. The racks have many more prongs and take some getting used to, especially for pots and pans and large bowls. Really like the slanted wine glass racks: no more wet bottoms. Also, no stuck-on leftover food. It even cleans dark rings out of the coffee cups. We'll see how it runs in another 16 years; in the meantime, we're enjoying the quiet and energy/water savings of our Ascenta.

Fantastic Dishwasher!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Bosch dishwasher. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it. The 30 minute wash and half full are great time savers. So far it has worked flawlessly. I recently recommended a Bosch dishwasher to a good friend, based on my experience. I am now considering Bosch for other appliance upgrades!

Out-of-date loading pattern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything about this dishwasher except loading it. My dishes don't fit. The manual spends a lot of space showing you how you can fit 12 place settings. Well, very few people have thethat kind of place settings any more. The fancy kind our grandparents got when they were married, with flat plates, small flared bowls, and teacups with saucers. Nobody has saucers with tiny cups any more; they have mugs. And bigger bowls with starter sides, and plates with curved edges or square plates. Your product designers should look at the best selling casual dinnerware at Crate and Barrel and figure out how to design a dishwasher to accommodate mugs, curved plates, and bigger bowls. And please let me know that you read this and please respond.
