Expected better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, the Bosch name has not delivered in this model. Not only does it not dry the dishes - at all - there is no drying feature, apparently. Another unfortunate issue is that it smells horribly unless it's left partially open. It was my understanding that it would remove food particles but it seems that it does not - it smells like rotting food so I must run it every day. I purchased it for the half load feature, but living alone I still don't need to run it every day. I may end up going back to handwashing everything. Very disappointed.

Overall a good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced our Bosch that died after about 15 years. We tried to get a very similar model which I think this is. It is louder that our last one and the run cycle is quite a bit longer too but it does dry better. I like that you can flip a couple sections up or down but overall I don't care for how the racks are configured for dish placement. They seem to be designed mostly for plates and bowls and not much for food containers and cups. We used to be able to fit our cups and mugs under the top shelf that can flip up but in the new model we can't, in fact that space is mostly useless. I also don't care for the individual utensil slots as I feel like it's a bit of a puzzle putting silverware in so it takes longer. Overall it cleans and dries well but I don't feel like it optimizes space well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best dishwashers I've ever own. The top rack for the utensils is so convenient and the top self is adjustable for all my cup sizes. Just need to remember if you lower the top shelf the bittom won't have much space. No problem though because you can still load pans and lower items. My dishes are clean. The light at the bottom is absolutely useful, it lets everyone know that a cycle is going.

A Terrible Dishwasher - DO NOT BUY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Dishwasher in September 2020 and had to wait until December to have it installed due to COVID wrecking havoc on the supply chain. Consumer Reports had rated it highly so we were looking forward to having it installed. Installation went smooth and it was reasonably priced at around 479.00.
1. The dishwasher is now 6 months old and already the metal on the inside of the door is rusting and the inside she'll has rust in several spots.
2. It does a terrible job at washing anything that has dried or caked on food, pasta, peanut butter or any other sticky substance on it. It is FAR worse than my 18 year old Kenmore that it replaced and I mean a factor of 10 X worse!
3. It DOES NOT DRY the dishes ever! You must remove the dishes immediately after they cool down and hand dry them. Yes we use jet dry and the hottest intense cycle and cascade detergent and increased "drying time" to max as the troubleshooting in the book says to do - it simply does not dry dishes. The first few times we used it we believed in it and ended up with mildew on the dishes when we didn't take them out for 3 days after we washed them. So, when I bought this piece of garbage, I thought it was one of the best per Consumer Reports and online reviews - boy they could not be more wrong.
The only good thing about it - it is quiet. Like that matters when it doesn't do the one thing it wax bought for which is to clean and dry the dishes. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!

Bad design and material selection

In my opinion, this appliance has two major issues: One is that due to a an excesive use of plastic it feels cheap and the other is a very inefficient trays design. Even for an architect like me, the trays aren't designed to maximize space and minimize water and energy. Before we used the dishwasher twice a week, now we need to run it 4 times in a week. I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy this product.

Nice basic dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is nice and quiet with a good spray system and easy clean filter. I do not like the bend on the rack's tines. I especially do not like the utensil basket... the basket is so shallow that you must use the flip down lids on them and put one utensil in each slot, which is tedious, and the slots don't fit my cooking utensils. But if you don't use the lids, the baskets are so shallow my tall tools and utensils fall out.
I would recommend this to a friend!
