Dishwasher Does not Dry Dishes Adequately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THink this is second review I have made...might not have arrived so here it is again. We are disappointed as the dryer function does not adequately dry the contents. Have followed the instructions but still poor performance. We bought this new dishwasher because the prior one did not dry well...this one is equally as bad.

Great little dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace a leaking dishwasher that used to take 4 hours per cycle. This unit is half that and is much quieter. I also like the silverware tray being on the side and not on the door. The old unit had it on the door and would occasionally stop the soap door from opening. This is a nice, quiet, efficient machine.

Terrible packout

I've owned this for a few months now. It cleans pretty well. It's quiet but the packout is pretty bad. Whoever designed the basket layout didn't do much cooking. It really only handles plates. If you have skillets or large bowls they don't fit very well. The utensil basket has covers that flip forward into the dish area and IMO should go the other direction. They are also thin and spindely. I give them a few years and they'll probably be broken. The top basket doesn't have a lot of head room for tall cups, sports bottles and the like. It does go lower by switching it to the lower rail but at the expense of severly hindering the height of anything on the lower backet. Lastly they put this usless bump out on the top basket for detergent tabs that takes up a lot of usable realestate that could otherwise be used for cups. This unit replaced an 11 y.o. GE diswasher that went into the same physical location under the counter but held way more dirty dishes, pots, etc than this machine.

My New Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can you love an inanimate appliance Yes, yes, yes. I absolutely love the Ascenta Dishwasher. It fit perfectly under my counter, and matches my other stainless steel appliances to a tee. This dishwasher is silent, efficient, and versatile. What more can I say? I'm saving water without having to pre-rinse anything. My caked pots come out clean and shiny. So does everything else i put it the dishwasher. Thank you, Bosch. You made a really fine product.

My Kitchen Buddy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for 2 months now, It replaced a 3-year-old KitchenAid that had stopped working completely. I purchased a Bosch on the recommendation of our appliance repairman.
What I really like about this dishwasher:
-- It cleans my dishes! My dishes sparkle. I thought that my dishes were looking old and dull. It turns out it was my dishwasher.
-- My dishes come out dry. Yup!
-- I have vision challenges. The big push buttons are awesome!

What I don't like about my dishwasher:
-- The tines on the racks are close together. I have Fiestaware dishes. Apparently they are thicker than most other dishes and this has made learning to load the dishwasher more difficult. This is the only reason that I have not given this dishwasher 5 stars.

Would I recommend this dishwasher? Absolutely! In fact, I already have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ease of use. Not crazy about the dish pattern inside. Doesn't give you enough room for big items. Wished the tongs would lay down if needed. I am going call my dealer. Rinse aide despenser seems to leaknot at door but from the bottom
