Big improvement over our old dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this Bosch model based on Consumer Reports' rating. Not only was it was one of their highest rated models, but was also one of the lower priced ones they tested! Compared to the 20-year-old Kenmore/Whirlpool model we replaced, this new unit is much better in almost every way. With our old dishwasher, we had to thoroughly rinse and brush food off before the dishes went in, but that's not needed with this model. It cleans very well, so we are saving lots of water by not rinsing our dishes anymore before washing. It's also very quiet and energy efficient, using about 25% less electricity per wash than our old unit. The only area where it's a little weak is drying. Our old dishwasher had an electric heating element in the bottom to help with drying and this Bosch model does not, so we find that dishes have to sit much longer after the wash cycle before they are dry. However, it is also much easier on plastics without that heating element, so you can safely put plastic items anywhere, even on the bottom shelf. Considering this was one of the cheaper models available, we feel we got a very good product for the money and are very happy with our choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good dishwasher, does a good job. Quite but not as quite as my GE in our summer home. They both have the same DB rating. The kick panel may be the wrong one, no way to reach the attaching screws. I was able to attach it using the vent holes, epoxy and wood plugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I do like this dishwasher. It's quieter than the previous brand I had and cleans everything really well. The only thing I don't like is the design of the racks. It's a little hard to place bowls in there and not take up a lot of room, limiting what you else you can put in there. I feel like we run the dishwasher more often because of this, but that's not a terrible thing. I'd still recommend this dishwasher.
