Mostly like our dishwasher

It is very quiet & washes the dishes well. The inside is not designed well to hold our dishes. You can put lots of plates in the racks but it is hard to find placement for soup bowls or large mugs. There is no room for large pans. Very little room for putting dishes along the sides. There are only two of us and we don't run it everyday.

My wife is happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave in! I just couldn't take my wife's complaining about how loud our old dishwasher was. Didn't bother me at all but, well..."a happy wife is...." Anyway, the Bosch Ascenta was delivered and installed abut a month ago and we've (me) run it maybe a dozen times. To say the least, the Ascenta is a blessing! We can actually carry on a conversation or listen to TV without any interference, human or mechanical. As chief dishwasher in the house, I love the clear controls, well designed for easy adjustments. The movable racks make it easy to clean just about anything. It looks good too! Fits right into the kitchen decor and is stylish. My only suggestion would be stronger drying power. I often have to wipe silverware and cups after they've been in the dishwasher overnight. A "power dry" setting would be great! All in all, perfect!

As quiet as advertised!
