Great customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit income to find out it was a lemon. By the time the determination was made that it was not repairable, it was too late to return to the store where I bought it I contacted bosch and they took care of everything.
They shipped the new unit to the repair vendor and covered the cost of the uninstallation and reinstallation.
Great company, they have a customer for life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dry dishes? Not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the dishwasher does its job - the dishes are cleaned well and it is super quiet. The rack design definitely takes some getting used to - there are a lot of holders and figuring out your particular needs takes some patience.
Now, the saleswoman raved about the "condensation dry" feature and the fact it uses less energy and doesn't have a heating component that can go bad. She was correct. However...the dishes are still quite wet when the cycle is done. It took us a couple of loads to realize if we crack the door a little bit the load dries much better (we also flip cups and bowls over to get rid of the standing water). If you can't get the door to stay open a crack, a folded dish towel works well as a spacer.

Super Quiet! Super Clean Dishes

This dishwasher not only came loaded with really awesome dish racks, it also gets our dishes sparkling clean! It is frighteningly quiet, and it's white, so it matches the rest of our kitchen too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new dishwasher for about a month now. Love the amount of space in it along with the quiet operation. This new one was replacing a dishwasher we had for 17 years. Needless to say there is some new technology that were some new things we had to get use too such as the length of time it takes to wash a load. At first I though that would bother me but because it’s so quite I forget that it’s even on. I love how dry my items are and the different settings to choose from. I especially like the anti leak feature that automatically turns off the unit if it senses any leaks. All and all I am very happy with my new dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Indispensable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Bosch dishwashers!! We are on our 2nd Bosch dishwasher and I cannot live without it! I did live without it while we experienced a kitchen demolition. And I washed dished by hand, which I do not mind, in our small bathroom sink. It got to be a long wait getting our demo complete in the kitchen. After 16 long months, we were reunited with a new Bosch dishwasher, and I am so happy. My husband and I now can reminisce about those difficult months during our renovation. One question I had for my husband before we finally moved into the new kitchen was "what do you miss most about our kitchen?". His answer, one word, "dishwasher".
And that sums it up!

Had thought Bosch appliances were reliable but . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for a couple of months. I have never encountered prongs to separate the dishes that are so awkwardly angled. It is very difficult to get dishes to fit between them. In order to get plates, bowls, etc. to tilt toward the water source a lot of space is lost, requiring more loads. More recently, the soap dispenser door is not opening during the cycle. We are left with a soggy soap capsule and dirty dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher because Consumer Reports gave it a good rating. When it was installed, I thought it was strange that a 24" dishwasher would be less than 24" wide (the standard size for a dishwasher). The old dishwasher was 24" and came out of a space which was probably 24 1/8". This dishwasher is narrower than that, therefore they have put two flanges, about 3/8" wide (maybe call them gaskets) on either side to fill the space, but as you see in the photo those flanges don't reach down to the kick space leaving an empty gap. I thought that was poor design. But, more importantly, every time we wash dishes there is food residue on many of the dishes, frequently on the outside. According to the instructions, it is not necessary to rinse the dishes, but simply to scrape the food off the dishes. Since that doesn't work well enough, I actually do rinse the dishes (though my partner may not). We load the dishwasher more or less as recommended, although I do find it difficult to fit in large pieces. I make sure the rinse aid dispenser is not empty. I clean the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher frequently. (Our old dishwasher did not even have a filter, so there was nothing to clean… it was a Jennair, and it rarely left residue on dishes.) The particles of food I am finding on many of the dishes don't even come from the dish it lands on. For instance the glasses may have particles of food on the outside. The dishwasher is pretty quiet, however I am disappointed in its performance.
