Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how well it cleans my dishes. All I have to do is scrape off the big stuff and the dishwasher cleans everything else off. It leaves them squeeky clean. The main drawback I have is how the inside is configured for putting dishes and utensils in. It it somewhat hard to get things to fit in properly. I would also like to be able to raise the top rack up so I can fit taller things in the bottom, but it only let me lower the top rack. Great for cleaning. Hard for loading.

Love this dishwasher but bottom rack is flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love everything about this dishwasher EXCEPT the bottom racks slides off the track if I put all my dishes in it. I have porcelain dinner plates and I guess they're too heavy for the rack. As much as I love everything else about this appliance - it's quiet, cleans things even within food left on them, 3rd rack at the top is perfect! - I am a little disappointed that the bottom rack isn't strong enough.

A Good Question?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used the dishwasher all of the dishes were still wet, even though I left them in the dishwasher overnight. The inside door was all wet also. I did not use the sample of the Finish Jet Dry provided since I have never before used a drying aid. The second time I used the dishwasher I did use the Jet Dry. All of the dishes were dry, except for the tableware. The directions are not clear to me as to how to program the autopower off. I've used both the "auto" and "normal" settings -- both 2 hours!! Seems unnecessarily long to me. A little frustrating. My old dishwasher was 30+ years old -- never a problem. I renovated the kitchen and felt I should replace the dishwasher while doing so. This model was rated No. 1 by Consumers Reports. I just don't know if I'm happy or not with the purchase. Maybe after more use, I'll figure the ins-and-outs and quirks of the dishwasher.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me begin by saying that I have always insisted on owning a Bosch dishwasher. Have always loved the performance and quietness. The machine I purchased for my ew home does not have all of the features that I enjoyed on my last Bosch. But I bought it because it came in the color white. So now, I have a white machine :) that does not have a full array of features that I've enjoyed on my last Bosch dishwasher. In fact, I could have purchased the GE Cafe dishwasher to match my other applicances, but chose the Bosch from customer loyalty and great past experiences. Also, it doesn't dry the dishes thoroughly. I've had a service person here who basically told me, Bosch dishwashers are made how they used to be made. Very disappointed.

Almost perfect

This is my second Bosch diswasher. The things that I love are the quiet efficency of the machine. It is very rare to have an item that is not perfectly clean. What don't I love? The instruction book. I hit the delay start button in error. I was unawCoare that I had done so. Could not locate the information I needed. Annoying. Back to what I love. I contacted Bosch and received an answer. However I do think you should review the book for this model. Miriam Cohen
