Second Bosch Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Bosch dishwasher was a victim of a lighting strike, it was 10 years old and was the quiets one I ever had so I bought a second one same model. Well the new one is better that the first one.

Runs well

Very sound and functional unit. Simple yet cleans very good. We had a 43 DB unit in the past and this seems just as quiet even though it rated at 50 DB. Complete cleaning cycle is much quicker than our old unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it's only a DISH washer

would not buy again. I WISH I COULD RETURN IT. racks don't hold many items. there isn't much space between top & bottom racks, so you cannot put items in that are taller than a dish. No pots and pans, unless you lay them down and then you can only wash a few items. Most days I have to load the dishwasher 2 times to get everything done. You can't even put a spatula, serving spoons or anything taller than a fork in the flatware tray, because they jam into the top rack and then the sprayer arm can't spin. All cycles runs for 2 1/2 hours. I dread even loading it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love our 800 Series Bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CrystalDry technology was worth the money as it truly gets everything dry except for standing water in recessed areas. Dishes come out sparkling clean, even peanut butter and crusted potatoes come off knives and plates! Just don't overload so water can circulate. The filter is very easy to clean. The top drawer is great for silverware and flatter items!

So far, we have used only a few of the settings. We are a bit confused about the difference in cost and overall cleanliness and dryness among some of the settings - with timeframes varying by nearly two hours.
