Cleans well and nearly slilently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher about a month ago and have used it a number of times since then. I installed it myself, and the installation process was extremely easy.
We use the recommended dishwasher tabs and rinse agent, and dishes come out as dry as they ever did in our old dishwasher that had the heating element. They are also extremely clean.
It runs extremely quietly. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether the unit is even running. The noisiest part of the cycle is when the water drains into the sink.
The rack configuration takes a little getting used to, but it really works quite well for our household and we can hold a ton of dishes in it. My only complaint is that the top rack seems oddly configured and feels a little awkward when it comes to loading bowls and glasses in effectively. But it's a small quibble, and one I'm sure I'll get over as I learn to load it more efficiently over time.

So Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this and installed myself. A bit of a snag with the door latch, but it seems to be working OK now. We've had other machines, but the Bosch brand is the quietest of them all. Love the flexibility of loading options, too. Even on Express Wash, the dishes come out spotless without pre-rinsing.

Clean Dishes, At Last!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Bosch DW is great! It cleans and dries the dishes very well...just a small amount of water left in the upside down cup bottoms. It is so quiet, I have to put my ear up to it to hear if it is running. The self-closing feature still startles me, but I will eventually get accustomed to it. It is also a little bit difficult to open--hard on these "old" hands (not to worry though, it is my new upper body lifting program.) My only other complaint is that without adjusting the longest run of fold-down tines, there is little room in the bottom rack for wider items like larger bowls, casserole dishes and baking sheets. Thank you Bosch, I am so glad that I no longer have to wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher.
